1. LAVATORY FIRE PROTECTION
Lavatoryfiredetection andprotection consists of a ceiling mounted smoke detectorand a waste compartmentfire extinguisher.
A. Detection
The smoke detectormonitors thelavatoryforthepresence of smoke. Whenthe smoke density exceeds apresetlevel, thedetectorsounds anauralalarm andaSMOKE TOILET caution messageis displayed on theEICASprimarypage.
