APU START/STOP Switch/Light

Whenpressedin, starter motor is energizedandSTART light (amber) comes on.

At 50%rpm, START light goes out.

At 95% rpm, and4 seconds later,AVAIL light (green) comes on.
Whenpressedout:

FCU shut-
off valve closes.

APU shuts down,
and

AVAILlight goes out.

TheAPUgauges come onwhenthe electronic controlunit is powered (APUPWRFUEL switch/light pressedin).

Withthe ECU powered, gauge information is maintainedduring shutdown.

TheAPUgauges go off whenthe electronic controlunit is not powered(APUPWR FUELswitch/light pressedout).
NOTE
The gauges will remainin view for approximately 60seconds, after PWRFUEL switch/light pressedout.

APU BLEED ON

Loadcontrol valve is openandbarometric altitude is greater than15,000feet.

Comes on to indicate that X-
