A. Opening the Avionics Bay Door
To openthe avionics baydoor:
(1)
Press theouterhandle triggerplate.
W The handle ejects from thedoor recess.
(2)
Rotatethehandle 90degrees counterclockwise to theOPENposition. W The fwdandaftlatchpins disengagefrom thedoorframe latchfittings.
(3)
Pushthedoorup
W Alatch ontherollerarms locks thedoorin theupposition.
(4)
Rotatethetheouterhandle to theCLOSEDposition andpushthehandle intothe doorrecess
(5)
Slide thedoorfwd or aft asrequired.
B. Closing the Avionics Bay Door
To close the avionics baydoor:
(1)
Slide thedoorabove itsopening.
(2)
Press thehandle triggerplate.
W The handle ejects from thedoor recess.
(3) Rotatethehandle to theOPENposition to release thehold-
openlatch.
(4)
Pullthedoorfullydown to compress thedoorseal, androtatethehandle to the CLOSEDposition.
W The fwdandaftlatchpins engagein thedoorframe latchfittings.
(5)
Pushthehandle intothedoor recess.
W The doorhandle locks in thestowedposition.
