1. CARGO COMPARTMENT DOOR
The cargo compartmentdooris located aftofthe cabin area on theleft sideofthefuselage. The cargodoorhandle is operatedfrom theoutsideonlyandis rotatedto theOPENposition tounlatchand totheCLOSEDposition to latch.
The cargodooropensinward, andupinsidethe upperfuselage guidedby rollerandtrack assemblies on each side ofthedoor. Thedoormovementis assistedbytwo balance springsand cables.
A. Opening the Cargo Door
To openthe cargodoor:
(1)
Press theexternalhandle triggerplate.
W The handle ejects.
(2) Rotatethehandle counter-
clockwise to theOPENposition.
W The doormechanism unlatches
W The doormoves inward, within theguidetracks.
(3)
Manuallypushthedoorfullyup.
W The doormoves up,guided bytrack rollers, andremains in thefullopen position.
B. Closing and Latching the Cargo Door
To close the cargo door:
(1)
Manuallypullthedoordown.
W The doormoves down,guidedbytrack rollers.
(2)
Pullthedooroutwardagainstthe stops, androtatethe externalhandle clockwise totheCLOSEDposition.
W The doormechanism latches asthehandle reachestheend ofits rotation.
(3)
Correctlyalign the controlhandle withthedoor recess andpushitfullyin. W The handle locks in position.
