With the injection of new technology into the cockpit, computer power provisioning is becoming a common procedure. Many aircraft owners are opting for a rack mounted power supply. KGS Incorporated is a manufacturer of many high quality DC supplies. Keep in mind that the voltage and amperage outputs must be adjustable to meet the exact power requirements of the computer. We have an ADR, TSO certified KGS power supply that will be specific to the FG-series EFB power requirements
ADR will supply a fused power lead with a bare 2-wire input for connection to a Molex. This lead will have the 8AG fuse with the correct MP-205 connector. Removal of the fuse is typical due to separate fusing of the power converter. All KGS supplies will be shipped with the 6’ lead. You will need to source a connector for the bare wire end.
The power supply has enough amperage to power one EFB. A dual EFB model is available but most prefer the redundancy of separate converters.

ADR has developed one portable, 2 universal and one certifiable mounting solution for the EFB. The universal mounting plate incorporates nylock hardware and anti-rub cushions to mount an aluminum plate to the slipcase. The options for the universal mounting style are gooseneck or adjustable six inch arm.
