In addition, the Regional Forums helped local government and civic leaders learn more about business aviation by featuring sessions on the No Plane No Gain advocacy cam-paign. These events also generated positive media coverage in the local markets in which they were held.
The Association’s six regional representatives re-energized the NBAA Regional Program and Network of Business Aviation Associations (NORBAA) in 2010 by providing new education, networking and resources to guide regional busi-ness aviation associations to succeed. One example includ-ed the launch of a three-part regional webinar series to help regional groups increase community outreach; get involved in charitable, scholarship and mentoring efforts; and use the web to maximize group effectiveness.

In 2010, NBAA continued to add to its portfolio of Member benefits, including services that are either free of charge or offer significant discounts.
For example, the new NBAA Shipping Program provided Members with savings of up to 29 percent on their ship-ping costs. Members that enroll in this free program receive discounts on every shipment sent or received – from small packages to large, less-than-truckload freight shipments.
Another cost-saving Member benefit introduced was a cash dividend for participants in the NBAA Workers’ Com-pensation Program, with companies earning a refund of up to 25 percent of their annual premiums, based upon loss experience. The program, underwritten by Phoenix Aviation Managers and administered by NationAir Aviation Insurance, offered dividend opportunities to all current insureds, as well as to every company that had participated in the program since its inception on May 1, 2009.
NBAA also continued to provide many other highly valued Member benefits, such as the Complete Aeromedical Ser-vices Benefit (CASP), which was launched in 2009, and the fully searchable online Member Directory, which remained the best source for business aviation resources.
