Similarly, the 14th Annual Safety Standdown USA, held in Wichita, KS, saw record attendance of 700 and drew a wait-ing list for participation. The free seminar, which provides critical information and training on topics directly related to human performance and error, is offered by Bombardier in partnership with NBAA, the FAA and the National Transpor-tation Safety Board. One of NBAA’s newest safety initiatives, the Cessna Single-Pilot Safety Standdown, continued to gain momentum as well. Held during NBAA’s 63rd Annual Meeting & Conven-tion in Atlanta, GA, this event focused on the unique set of safety considerations specific to entrepreneurs who fly their own airplanes for business. NBAA and its Members also recognized the importance of international safety with events in Europe and Asia. The 4th Annual Safety Standdown Europe was held by Bombardier in partnership with NBAA and the European Business Aviation Association in conjunction with the European Business Avia-tion Convention & Exhibition. The first-ever Business Avia-tion Safety Seminar Asia, held in Singapore, drew more than 120 Asian officials and aviation safety experts.
