Vertical Speed Readout (green)
Indicates current vertical speed
from 0to 15,000FPM. From 0to 9,950FPM, display is at 100FPM. Above 9,950FPM, display is at 1,000FPM. If rate is greater than10,000FPM, decimal point disappears.
NOTE
Vertical speedpointer andreadout turn red when aTCAS resolutionadvisory is issuedand speedis not within
corrective limits (refer to Chapter 18).
Vertical Speed Flag (red)
Indicates that vertical speed data hasfailed. Appears in place of vertical speed scale, pointer andreadout.
