Adigitalelectronic clockis installed on thepilotand copilot side panels. Each clock contains its own time base and eachhas GMT, CHR,local andETfunctions. The clocks are thetime base source fortheaircraft avionics equipment. The clocks receive air/groundinformation from thePSEUto controltheelapsedtime function (flighttime). The Pilots clockis poweredfrom theDCbatterybusandthe copilots clockis powered from DCbus 2. In the event of apower failure, both clockswillbe poweredbythe main batterydirectbus. Currenttime is also displayed on the multifunctionaldisplays.

Adigitalelectronic clockis installed on thepilotand copilot side panels. Each clockis capable ofdisplayingdate(GPS or internalUTC), currenttime (GPS,internalUTC, or local), chronometer(CHR), as well as elapsedtime (ET)functions. The clocks are synchronizedto theGPSinput assoon asvalidGPSinformation is received. Inthe case ofinvalidGPSdata orsignalloss, theclocks willoperatein internal(INT)mode usingthe integratedtime base of each clock. Ifthere is avalidGPS signal, the clocks donotneed to be set, as thiswillbe doneautomaticallyatpowerup. The flight crew can disable the theGPS signalbyenteringthetime setting mode. The clocks willthen ignore theGPS signaluntilthe nextprimarypower reset. The MODE,ETSELandETRSTbuttons are usedto setthetime anddate. To setthe clock, pushtheMODEbuttonfor two seconds, thenpushtheMODEbutton again to toggle between UTChours andminutes(whenthe INTis lit), year, month,andday, (whentheDTis lit), andlocaltime hours andminutes (whentheLTis lit). Inanyofthese modes, theETSELbuttonis usedto decrease the dataandtheETRSTbuttonis usedto increase thedata. Data changes are in increments of onedigitfor eachpress oftheETSEL orETRSTbutton. Atanytime duringthetime settingprocess, pressingtheMODEbuttonforaminimumoftwo seconds willexitthe time setting mode and restartthe clockoperation.
