Time/Date Display
Displays Greenwich mean time, localtime or date.
GMTis displayedin
hours andminutes.
LOCis displayedin hours andminutes. Date; alternately indicates month/day on the GMTdisplay(for first second) andyear (for next second).
DATE alternately
displays month/day
(for first second) and
year (for next second).
Time Setting/Display Selector
Usedin conjunction with
ET/CHRbuttons to set
applicable readouts.
SETcyclesthroughGMT,
LOCandday/month/year.
GMT/LOC/DATE displays time or date at upper readout.
Effectivity: Airplanes 7002 to 7672.
ET
Controls elapsedtime readout andduringtime setting, selects the parameter to beset. Flashingparameter can beincrementedby pressingCHR.
CHR
Usedto start, stopand reset theCHRdisplay andsecondhand. Overrides existing elapsedtime display. First push starts chronometer Secondpushholds chronometer readout andsecondhand Thirdpush resets secondhandto zero andreturns display to elapsedtime
Duringtime setting, CHRbuttonis usedto increment applicable value.
Second Hand
ET/CHR Display
Displays elapsedtime
or chronometer time. ETtime is displayed inhours andminutes. CHRtime is displayed inminutes.
NOTE
ETtime corresponds to airplaneflight time and starts whenthe airplane takes off and stops at touchdown. ET can only be reset onground.
